Sensing/Pacing
SiteFinder™ Lead Placement Guidewire
Super-flexible guidewire designed to work with the SafeSheath CSG series of coronary sinus introducers and "over-the-wire" pacing leads.
Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) requires accurate pacing lead delivery to specific postero-lateral epicardial LV pacing sites via the coronary sinus. Although the SafeSheath CSG Worley introducer has made coronary sinus access
'a breeze,' angulated venous branches revealed by coronary sinus venography can make for difficult and
prolonged procedure times. The SiteFinder Guidewire can help to resolve these problems.

After coronary sinus venography has been performed and an appropriate CS tributary chosen, the SiteFinder Lead Placement Guidewire is advanced to the target fluoroscopically. Appropriate positioning is determined fluoroscopically or electrically with a pacemaker analysis system. The pacing lead front or back loaded is then advanced over the wire to the target site and tested. If signal characteristics, pacing threshold or the presence of diaphragmatic stimulation demonstrates the site to be inadequate, the SiteFinder Guidewire may be repositioned and tested again, prior to pacemaker lead placement.
The SiteFinder is part of a complete line of implantable device therapy products and accessories from Pressure Products.
