SafeSheath® Ultra Lite

Peel-away introducer with specially designed valve and easy-splitting hub for effortless insertion and removal of central venous and port catheters. Available in 6–11 French sizes.

The new SafeSheath® Ultra Lite is specially designed for the introduction of ports and central venous catheters. Introduced venously in the standard manner, the specially designed membrane of the 13cm Ultra Lite allows for the easy device insertion, while sealing the valve during introduction and positioning.

The Ultra Lite’s easy splitting, ergonomically shaped break-away hub greatly simplifies sheath removal after catheter placement. The extruded score line construction ensures a clean, even peel every time.

A new locking dilator connector assures a firm attachment to the sheath.Finally, the silicone oil-free construction of the Ultra Lite will not interfere with delicate catheters.
