SafeSheath® Introducer Systems
A complete line of peel-away, hemostatic introducers for vascular access. Available in a wide variety of French sizes, the SafeSheath and SafeSheath Ultra also feature an infusion side port and come in standard and long lengths.
SafeSheath®
The industry standard peel-away introducer features a break-away hemostasis valve for reduced risk of blood loss and air embolism, allowing multiple lead insertions without further interventions. The side port provides "keep open" infusion and contrast injection and an improved dilator/sheath transition reduces entrance forces. Comes in 13 and 25cm lengths.
SafeSheath® Ultra
Building on the success of the original SafeSheath, the new Ultra adds an ergonomically designed, easy splitting break-away hub, low profile luer activated side port, and silicon oil-free construction that won't interfere with the sensing and pacing characteristics of current pacemaker leads. Available in 13 and 23cm lengths.
SafeSheath® Ultra Lite
The new Ultra Lite features a specially designed valve and easy-splitting hub for effortless insertion and removal of central venous and port catheters.
